Meet The Founder
Dr. Michael D. Brown is the Founder of MBD Consulting Agency, LLC and serves as its President. Before founding MDB Consulting Agency, LLC, he completed a 20-year career with the Buffalo Police Department in Buffalo, New York, serving as a Detective from 1999 to his retirement in 2008. He worked in the Robbery Squad, Special Frauds Unit, General Investigations Unit and the Narcotics Squad.
Upon retiring, he joined Securitas Security Services, USA, first as an Account Manager for Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Alabama until he was promoted to Branch Manager for Huntsville, AL Branch, which encompasses Northern Alabama and Eastern Mississippi. Dr. Michael D Brown worked in this capacity for Securitas until October 2012, when the foundation was laid for the formation of MDB Consulting Agency, LLC.
In 2015, Michael assumed the role of Security Coordinator and was later promoted to Senior Security Manager – USA Region for Marelli, a global auto components supplier. He remained in this role until 2023 when the decision was made for MDB Consulting Agency, LLC, to be the full-time focus.
Dr. Michael D. Brown holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Homeland Security Leadership and Policy from National University. He also is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security International (ASIS) and earned the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification issued by the organization.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - In the 10 years since the deadly Mother Emanuel shooting in Charleston, South Carolina, there have been nine church shootings in the U.S.
In those church shootings, 43 people have lost their lives. Nine Black parishioners were killed in the Charleston shooting in 2015.
Most churches believe their security is tight, but some may be overlooking certain safety measures. A security expert visited Little Rock AME Zion Church in Charlotte to see what measures were in place to safeguard parishioners, and what changes needed to be made.
